Advisory Board Public Hearing on MWRA\u2019s Proposed FY27 Current Expense Budget (CEB) & Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The MWRA Advisory Board will hold a public hearing on the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority\u2019s proposed FY27 Current Expense Budget<\/strong> and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)<\/strong> on:<\/p>\n

Following a presentation on the components of the proposed budget, community officials and members of the public will have an opportunity to provide public comment.<\/p>\n

The Authority is required to adopt its Current Expense Budget on or before June 30, as set forth in Chapter 372 of the Acts of 1984. Under this statute, the MWRA Advisory Board is empowered to review the proposed budget and make comments and recommendations prior to its adoption.<\/p>\n

In carrying out its responsibilities, the Advisory Board also reviews the Authority\u2019s capital expenditure budgets and capital programs, including the Capital Improvement Plan, and considers the impacts of both operating and capital spending on rates and charges.<\/p>\n
